Fledge for Teachers

Fledge is a free, classroom-safe way to teach investing. Students learn with real market prices but pretend money — there is nothing to deposit, nothing real to lose, and nothing in it is financial advice. You get a live view of how each student is doing on both the lessons and their practice portfolio.

1. Make a teacher account.
Sign up and choose the educator role. You'll land on your classroom page.

2. Create a class.
Name it (e.g. "Period 3 — Investing 101"). You get a short join code.

3. Share the join code.
Students sign up, enter the code, and they're in your class — each with their own $10,000 practice portfolio at real prices.

Open your class and you get a gradebook: every student in one table, showing how many lessons they've finished, their average quiz score, and how their practice portfolio is doing. Click any student to see their holdings and recent trades. It refreshes on its own while you teach.

Plain-English lessons built on famous investing ideas (with a short quiz each), a $10,000 practice portfolio at real market prices, and a prediction game that grades their reasoning, not their luck. No jargon walls, no ads, no pressure to buy anything.

No real money moves anywhere. Fledge is for ages 14+, collects only what an account needs (name, email, practice activity), and lets anyone delete their account and data at any time. The full details are in the Privacy Policy. Market prices come from free feeds and are delayed (typically ~15 minutes) — every screen labels where its data stands.
